Hand-painted and resist-dyed boys kimono with Nami Usagi - Rabbit and Wave Motif popular since the Momoyama era. The white foam on the crashing waves was seen in the moonlight and thought to be rabbits running across the water like in the fairy tale "The hare of Inaba" .
